Wedding Invitation
Invitation and reply card set for an upcoming wedding. The bride and groom are history buffs and love maps, so the design was derived from a map of Virginia from the 1700s depicting the area where the couple is getting married. The location, Thomas Jefferson's Poplar Forest, is the third president's second home outside of Lynchburg, VA. It was designed by Jefferson in the shape of an octagon, roughly located on the map by an octagon icon on both the invite and the reply. The pieces were paired with blue envelopes for extra "wow" factor.
